Abigail is a research economist in the abrdn Research Institute (aRI) and is responsible for research projects on a range of topics, with expertise in both time series and micro-econometrics. She was a key author on our award winning ‘A Woman’s Place’ research series exploring gender inequality in the labour market. Abigail also contributes to aRI’s indicator maintenance and development, helping to track macroeconomic and financial market developments by constructing summary indicators. Abigail holds an MSc in Economics (Econometrics) with distinction from the University of Edinburgh (Scotland).
