Scott Neu is the Co-Founder, Partner, and Chief Executive Officer of Sage Mountain. Prior to founding Sage Mountain, Scott worked at Goldman Sachs as a Managing Director in the Private Wealth Management division. Scott Neu is the Co-Founder, Partner, and Chief Executive Officer of Sage Mountain. Prior to founding Sage Mountain, Scott worked at Goldman Sachs as a Managing Director in the Private Wealth Management division. He has over 20 years experience working closely with individuals, families, and institutions to advise them on investments, intergenerational planning, and philanthropy. He holds an MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University with a concentration in finance, and he is a CFA charterholder. Early in his career, Scott enlisted for five years in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear power operator on the USS Salt Lake City and a staff instructor at a nuclear prototype facility.
Scott serves on the Board of Directors for Danita’s Children which provides resources to impoverished children in Haiti. Scott is also an Eagle Scout, and is currently the Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 197. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and three children. In his free time, Scott enjoys working out and alpine skiing.
